Start off the New Year right! Our Top Golf events are great for ALL ages! Have fun and help fund our program for local schools in the area. 

Stick2Life focuses on a proactive approach to anti bullying, suicide prevention and preventing school shootings.  We know that happy people don’t hurt themselves or others. Hurt people hurt others.

Unfortunately, a lot of programs today are reactive,(Once the line has already been crossed or almost crossed) vs proactive (Setting up patterns and uniting together for greater support.). The best type of support is for peers to support peers proactively.  

The best way is to have a habit of seeing a need and filling a need.  Like everything else in life we learn by practicing those skills every day.  We know the best leaders are aware of those around them and lead from the front.  

Students mirror what they see in their communities. Did you know that nationwide 1 in 4 students are bullied? 

That staggering statistic tells us students are not supporting each other.  Essentially, they haven’t learned how to work together in a community.

What will the long term effects be if they still don’t learn that they are part of a community? 

At the school level:
We have two main approaches to the bullying, suicide and school shootings.

1) Motivational speakers:

We try to bring in the sense of communities and camaraderie into the schools.  We do this by bringing in motivational speakers to help students hear and feel positive messages.  Some students haven’t heard a positive message in their life.

Our main approach is giving the school resources in helping their students support one another. Our goal is for EVERY student to feel loved and supported at school.

2) Magnet/ Window Clings:

Our magnet program gives schools around a 1000 magnets a year (300 every 2-3 months)

A student can take one of our magnets from the various magnet boards throughout the school and put it on someone’s locker.  (An Inspirational story, a quote, a birthday image, sporting images for games: football, baseball, soccer, lacrosse etc, choir/band concerts and just fun images- when one doesn’t know what to say)

Our Window Clings can be put on bathroom mirrors, doors or anywhere smooth to convey powerful affirmations/declarations. 

It’s amazing what one simple message can do.

At the community level:

In an effort to demonstrate communities to our youth we are doing our first community golf night to raise awareness of our program and also to demonstrate being a community is fun!

Our Top Golf is open to all ages. The golfing event starts at 6:30, but if you want to network you can come an hour early.

Play from 6:30-9:30 for $25 per person/$40 a couple. 

Have fun and save $.

***The normal cost of a a bay is about $50 an hour/$150 for 3 hours of golfing.

We know that some people don’t need a whole bay to themselves and having a game with others is more fun. We have combined both as a way of saving $ and also having fun meeting new people.
